All Aces Awards

The All Aces Awards are voted on by the instructors and speakers for every level at each development camp.

During the classroom session on the last day of every camp there will be an awards ceremony. Parents are
encouraged to attend!

Ace of Hearts Award

This Award goes to the player showing the most determination, effort, and
leadership throughout the Tricks of the Trade program. This is a core skill
which contributes to the success of many professional athletes. Teaching
players to compete and become leaders is one of the main goals of the Tricks
of the Trade program. To earn the Ace of Hearts Award, you must compete and
inspire your peers showing work ethic and commitment.

Ace of Diamonds Award

This Award goes to the player possessing the best puck handling skills throughout
the Tricks of the Trade program. The stick handling technique is what separates
the good players from the spectacular ones. A truly gifted player is noticed
by his ability to beat players one-on-one. Tricks of the Trade will teach and
demonstrate these detailed techniques to the students.

Ace of Clubs Award

This Award goes to the player showing the best skating ability throughout the
Tricks of the Trade Program. The game is changing, and so are the players which
excel in it. Skating is the first and foremost skill that players need to have.
This is a skill that has many facets: Agility, Stride Power, Lateral Movement,
Edges, and Change of Speed. Tricks of the Trade is committed to developing all
these aspects throughout the program.

Ace of Spades Award

This Award goes to the player with the best shot throughout the Tricks of the Trade
Program. Goal scoring is a premium, and many things contribute to this core skill.
The shot release, placement, and power are all involved. The true goal scorers
understand how to create openings even when they are not presented. The students
will be educated on where, when, and how to score during the Tricks of the Trade program.
